The inauguration ceremony for the drilling of 1 exploration well called the RBG-3B well in the Pranten Village area, Gubug District was held on Thursday, September 3, 2020. This very first drilling by TIS was marked by cutting the ribbon and pressing the operating machine button by the Regent of Grobogan, Sri Sumarni SH, MM., accompanied by the Head of Representative Office of SKK Migas Jawa Bali Nusa Tenggara (Jabanusa) Nurwahidi, Director of TIS Petroleum E&P Blora PTE. Ltd. Tang Zhong Fu, and representatives of Forkopimda.
The preparation for the drilling of the RBG-3B well ran smoothly even though it was during the Covid-19 pandemic. This could only be realized because of the cooperation of all parties, especially the support from the Regent of Grobogan, the Head of the Sub-district, the Police and all staff, SKK Migas Jabanusa, and the local community.
The drilling will be carried out by a contractor appointed by TIS, namely PT Enertech and is scheduled to last for the next one month, with a projected depth of about 2,700 feet or around 800 meters which is quite shallow.
This drilling activity is expected to run smoothly so that it can provide many benefits for various parties.
