TIS ENERGY'S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS REACH HUNDREDS OF BENEFICIARIES IN GROBOGAN
News 19 June 2026
The Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM) implemented by TIS Energy continues to grow as part of the company's commitment to supporting community development in areas surrounding its operations. Through various initiatives in agriculture, health, education, environmental conservation, and economic empowerment, the benefits of these programs are gradually being experienced by communities across Grobogan Regency.
As a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) Contractor operating in the Blora Working Area, TIS Energy believes that the success of community empowerment programs should not only be measured by the amount of assistance provided, but also by the number of people involved, the capacity improvements achieved, and the sustainability of the benefits generated.
In the agricultural sector, the NATA TANI Program has engaged 25 active farmers organized into two farmer groups, covering a total area of 5 hectares. Through training, mentoring, and capacity-building activities, the program promotes more structured, healthy, and sustainable farming practices.
In the health sector, the SELERAMU NATASYA Program has reached two community health volunteer groups (cadres), 25 pregnant women, 26 children under five years old, and 150 target households through health education activities, capacity building for health cadres, and strengthened stunting prevention efforts at the village level. The program represents one of the company’s initiatives to support the continuous improvement of community health.
In the education sector, the PerinTIS Scholarship Program has been awarded to 10 high-achieving students from underprivileged families. The program aims to improve access to education while encouraging young people to pursue their aspirations and achieve a better future.
Meanwhile, TIS Energy has developed its environmental initiative through SiTandur (Siap Tanam Dukung Ruang Hijau), a tree-planting program focused on supporting greener and healthier environments around the company's operational areas. Since 2023, TIS Energy has planted 440 productive fruit tree seedlings, 450 trembesi tree seedlings, and 1,000 mangrove seedlings. This initiative reflects the company’s long-term commitment to preserving environmental quality and local ecosystems.
Beyond measurable program outputs and beneficiary numbers, several positive changes have begun to emerge within the community. Increased participation in community groups, enhanced knowledge and skills among program participants, and stronger collaboration between local communities, village governments, and the company serve as early indicators that these initiatives are beginning to generate meaningful benefits.
General Manager of TIS Energy, Heri Suryanto, stated that the company will continue to evaluate and further develop its programs to ensure that their benefits become broader and more sustainable.
“The programs we implement are not merely focused on short-term assistance. They are designed to gradually build community capacity and self-reliance. We hope these benefits will continue to grow through active community participation and the support of all stakeholders,” he said.
Moving forward, TIS Energy will continue to expand and strengthen its community empowerment initiatives, including the next phases of its PPM programs, as part of the company’s commitment to growing and developing together with the communities surrounding its operational areas.
