Grobogan – Through its Blora working area, TIS Energy continues to strengthen its commitment to community empowerment through the Nandur Alam Tata Tani Lestari (NATA TANI) Program in Pranten Village, Gubug Sub-district, Grobogan Regency. The program is designed to promote healthy, independent, and sustainable agriculture, while also enhancing the economic resilience of local farmer groups.
As part of the program’s implementation, TIS Energy has partnered with Joglo Tani Indonesia to provide education on pest and plant disease control in rice cultivation to dozens of farmers in Pranten Village. Through this initiative, farmers are equipped with practical knowledge to identify pest types, understand attack patterns, and apply more environmentally friendly control methods to maintain agricultural productivity.
In addition, farmers received training on producing organic fertilizer independently using locally available materials. This training aims to enhance farmers’ capacity to produce healthy plant nutrients, improve soil quality, and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers.
Beyond the agricultural aspect, TIS Energy also distributed six goats to the Pranten Village farmer group as part of efforts to strengthen productive economic activities. The livestock assistance is expected to serve as an additional source of income managed collectively and sustainably.
General Manager of TIS Energy, Heri Suryanto, stated that the NATA TANI Program was designed as an integrated approach combining agricultural capacity building with rural economic empowerment.
“The Nandur Alam Tata Tani Lestari (NATA TANI) Program is designed as a long-term initiative to strengthen the resilience and self-reliance of communities surrounding our operational areas. The distribution of goats to farmer groups in Pranten Village is part of an integrated agriculture–livestock approach, aimed at creating a healthier and more sustainable production cycle,” he said.
He added that through the integration of livestock into the NATA TANI Program, livestock waste can be utilized as organic fertilizer to support healthy farming practices, while simultaneously opening opportunities to improve the economic welfare of farmer groups.
“We hope this program will deliver tangible benefits, not only for agricultural productivity but also for the long-term well-being of the community,” he concluded.
All program activities were carried out by actively involving the village government, farmer groups, and local stakeholders as a form of collaboration and transparency. The program also reflects TIS Energy’s commitment to implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in a tangible manner at the village level.
Going forward, TIS Energy expects the NATA TANI Program to generate long-term positive impacts on the welfare of farmers in Pranten Village and serve as a model for sustainable, agriculture-based community empowerment.
