TIS Energy Holds Ramadan Safari in Central Java, Distributes Basic Necessities Packages and Provides Support for Orphans

News 11 March 2026

Central Java — TIS Energy, through its Blora PSC operational area, organized a series of Ramadan Safari 1447H activities in Grobogan and Demak Regencies as part of its efforts to strengthen relationships with local governments and communities surrounding its operational areas.

The activities began with the distribution of Ramadan assistance packages to communities in villages around the company’s operational areas, namely Pranten, Kuwaron, and Gubug Villages in Grobogan Regency, as well as Pilangwetan Village in Demak Regency.

In total, the company distributed 475 assistance packages to communities in ring-1 villages, as well as 60 packages to local stakeholders, bringing the total number of packages distributed during this year’s Ramadan Safari to 535 packages.

The highlight of the program was a breaking-of-the-fast gathering and orphan support event held together with the Grobogan and Demak Regency Governments, marking the first time such activities have been conducted at the regency level since the company began operating in the region.

During the event, TIS Energy also provided support to 30 orphans, with 15 children from each regency, who come from villages surrounding the company’s operational areas.

Heri Suryanto, General Manager of TIS Energy (Blora PSC), stated that the Ramadan Safari is a regular company initiative aimed at strengthening relationships with local communities and regional governments.

“The Ramadan Safari serves as a meaningful moment for us to strengthen our ties with communities and local governments, while also sharing the spirit of compassion and generosity during the holy month of Ramadan,” he said.

Meanwhile, Febrian Ihsan, Head of the Formalities and Communications Department of SKK Migas Jabanusa, expressed appreciation for the company’s initiative in fostering engagement with local communities.

“Activities like this demonstrate the commitment of contractors to remain present and engaged with local communities and regional governments. We hope that the strong synergy between the company, government, and community will continue to grow,” he said.

Grobogan Regent Setyo Hadi and Demak Regent Esti’anah also expressed their appreciation for the company’s contributions to communities in their respective regions.

The Regent of Demak emphasized that the upcoming development well drilling activities should be conducted responsibly, ensuring environmental protection, community involvement, and contributions to the region’s local revenue.

In addition to social initiatives, TIS Energy continues to coordinate with local governments and relevant authorities to support its operational activities in Central Java. One of the planned operational activities is the drilling of the RBG-7 well in Pilangwetan Village, Demak Regency, as part of the development of the Blora PSC working area.

Based on coordination with relevant authorities and the latest policy regarding Protected Rice Fields (LSD) issued by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Demak Regency is currently not included among the regions required to immediately implement control and designation of Sustainable Food Agricultural Areas (KP2B). Therefore, the planned development well exploration activities in Pilangwetan Village can proceed in accordance with applicable regulations and permits.
