TIS Energy Contributes to the Planting of 1,000 Trees with IJTI Muria Raya at Bukit Salam

News 26 November 2025

As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, TIS Energy contributed to a tree-planting initiative involving 1,000 trees, organized by the Indonesian Television Journalists Association (IJTI) Muria Raya Chapter in collaboration with Perhutani.

The tree-planting activity took place at Bukit Salam, Sumberjatipohon Village, Grobogan District, Grobogan Regency, on Wednesday morning (November 26, 2025). The initiative aims to support environmental conservation efforts, increase green open space (GOS), and help mitigate potential natural disasters such as landslides and flooding in the Grobogan area.

Government & PR Supervisor of TIS Energy, Faisal Afif Pratama, stated that TIS Energy’s participation reflects the company’s tangible commitment to environmental protection, particularly in areas surrounding its operational region.

“TIS Energy contributed to this tree-planting activity as part of our commitment to supporting reforestation efforts and improving environmental quality. This initiative also serves as a preventive measure to reduce the risk of natural disasters,” said Faisal.

TIS Energy believes that collaboration among various stakeholders—including the media, forest management authorities, and the private sector—plays a crucial role in fostering collective awareness and responsibility toward environmental preservation.

Administrator of Perhutani KPH Purwodadi, Untoro Tri Kurniawan, expressed his appreciation for the initiative, noting that the activity significantly supports forest rehabilitation and conservation efforts, particularly in the Kendeng Utara mountainous area.

Meanwhile, Chairman of IJTI Muria Raya Chapter, Iwan Miftahudin, emphasized that the tree-planting initiative is expected to serve as a concrete example of cross-sector collaboration in safeguarding the environment as a shared social responsibility.

Through its active participation in this initiative, TIS Energy continues to play a role in supporting sustainable development, particularly in the environmental pillar, while strengthening collaboration with key stakeholders at the regional level.
